Cove Cottage

Our goal was to enhance and update this well-loved family home, but aimed to retain the intimate and welcoming vibe of the original 1960’s cape-style house. Subtle, but deliberate and effective floor plan changes, making shifts in the use of bedroom, closet and hallway spaces, provided the updated architectural envelope. Then, layers of worldly, but still approachable and family-friendly fixtures and materials were sourced to complete each room – connecting the spaces back to the casual coastal setting and the fun and unique personalities who reside within.
