Copper Beech Cottage

Through creative use of space, flow and light, the renovation of this classic New England storybook cottage was designed to appeal to the home’s place in time, and retain the charm of the original turn-of-the-century architecture while still providing ample room for the young family within. With classic material selections throughout, including painted beadboard and wainscot, and strategic use of brass, copper, wicker and fabric accents, the house feels at once warm and inviting, solid and timeless. With little expansion of the original footprint, the re-imagined floor plan achieves a complete transformation, with new spaces carved out for daily family life, quiet study, and jubilant gatherings.
